A censure is a form of punishment given to a union officer for misconduct and is permitted at a number of levels of the union. At the highest level, ICU Council may censure any union officer for misconduct.

A censure in itself is fairly toothless - it is essentially a "final warning". When a person within ICU has been censured, they cannot be censured again - the only further option is a No Confidence.
