The Executive Committee is responsible for overseeing the general management of the Union. It is responsible for implementing Union policy and for overseeing the day-to-day running of all of the Union's affairs including the commercial services. In matters of urgency the Executive can act on behalf of the Council, provided that such actions are reported to and approved by the Council at its next meeting.
