At the start of term nominations quietly opened for a plethora of vacant positions in the central union, the GSA, CGCU and RCSU. In amongst them are the positions for Union Council members, which this year are elected based on different constituencies: each faculty is split into UG and PG, with only the relevant members able to vote for their councillors.

Positions available include:

ICU

• Equal Opportunities Officer - your chance to stand up for equal treatment for all.
• ULU Delegates - an opportunity to visit ULU while you still can.
• Councillors (formerly Ordinary Members of Council) - represent your constituency on Council. Constituencies include UG and PG for each faculty, plus positions for those members of college not associated with a faculty (e.g. Tanaka Business School).

• Academic Affairs Officer (Research)

RCSU

• JMC Dep Rep
• Publicity and Web Communications Officer
• Welfare Officer
• Masters representative

Nominations close at midnight on Friday 13th October.
