Tickets are no longer available for the RCSU Science Challenge and Centenary party, with 200 tickets sold at a highly-subsidised price. The event was open to all Imperial students and a selection of alumni are also expected to attend.
The Science Challenge itself received 170 entries from local schools, with 102 entries from inside Imperial. 200 tickets for the final party have been sold, with the RCSU now offering to resell tickets if people find they cannot go.
The Science Challenge final and party will take place at the Ritz on the 9th March, with national media expected, including BBC TV cameras. The RCSU motorised mascot Jezebel is expected to transport finalists to the venue. 70 bottles of champagne and 100 of white wine will be served during the night.
RCSU President Jad Marrouche was asked for a comment, but could only manage "ooooooh, shiny" - he is still mesmerised by his new office.
