The results are in for the International Students Officer election and the most popular Live! Poll Ever... CSC Idol!
International Students Officer
With a turnout of 112 in a cross campus ballot, the International Students Officer elections are comparable to GSA Election proportions. However, winner Saki Onda claims her victory with a very clear margin to become the Union's first holder of the International Students' Officer position.
- Saki Onda: 87 votes ELECTED
- Lukas Ondruch: 12 votes
- RON: 10 votes
- Marcus Jiang: 3 votes
CSC Idol
This week Live! asked the most important question to be voted upon in a democratic election at Imperial College, ever: who is the best (looking) CSC Chair? After a brilliant start, Jenny Wilson leapt straight into the lead until an anonymous proxy favouring SCC Chair, Peter Mabbott threatened her domination of the poll. After an imaginative correction (or should that be 'fixing') Live! can release the results as follows:
- Jenny Wilson: 1581 votes WINNER!
- Peter Mabbott: 320 votes
- Sam Furse: 34 votes
- Rachel d'Oliveiro: 664 votes
- Eugene Chang: 544 votes
Attendees at the next RCC Exec can expect lots of yummy cake courtesy of Live! The Editor doesn't suggest running any real democratic processes through the Live! Poll software however, unless you are aiming for the usual farce.
