This article contains a list of places that you can watch the matches. This list is correct at the time of publishing.
Whether you're a member of college staff, a student doing revision, a PhD student frantically working on experiments and waiting (with great excitement) for all of the undergrads to disappear you'll probably be desperate to know how your team is doing during the FIFA World Cup - currently being held in South Africa.
For many employees this isn't so difficult. Whack the England matches on and hope the results don't hit staff morale too much.
At Imperial, with students and staff from all corners of the globe, it's not such an easy task... Showing all of the matches is a complex feat and working out where you can watch them is even harder. That's where we come in!
Staff
Imperial's stance on watching matches during working hours is that you should check with the manager of your department to see if flexible working is allowed. It may be worth staying an hour or two extra later in the day or arriving an hour earlier to see your favourite teams play.
Students
Postgraduates: it's worth checking with your supervisor first. If you've got plenty of time to spare then there's nothing to worry about.
Undergraduates: don't fail your exams for the sake of football, and try not to miss too many lectures!
