The City & Guilds College Association (CGCA) holds an annual Networking Reception at the National Liberal Club, near Westminster. To those of you who haven't been before this is a chance to talk directly to employers over a hot buffet in very pleasant surroundings. This year's event takes place on the evening of Wednesday 14th November.

The event is mainly aimed at final year students hoping to make contacts in order to gain employment. However, non-final year students are more than welcome to attend. You never know, you may get that dream summer job just by bumping into to the right person.

If you want to come then you need to get in contact with Adrian Winchester as soon as possible. Adrian is the Executive Secretary of the Association and can be found in Room 301 of the Sherfield Building. Alternatively send him an email via cgca@ic.ac.uk.

If you are a member of the Association then the event is absolutely free. If you're not a member of the Association then make sure you join up immediately. (Only £3 per year while you are a student.)
